Platform Data Processing
As the platform operator, Fulplate processes data on behalf of participating businesses ("Tenants") and for its own legitimate purposes:
Data Processed on Behalf of Tenants
- Order data, customer contact information, and delivery details — processed solely to fulfill Tenant services
- Payment processing data — routed securely to payment processors; never stored by Fulplate
Data Processed by Fulplate for Platform Purposes
- Aggregated & Anonymized Analytics: Order volumes, delivery patterns, and service usage trends (no personally identifiable information)
- Platform Improvement: Feature development, performance optimization, and quality benchmarking
- Fraud Prevention: Cross-tenant fraud detection and abuse prevention
- Compliance & Audit: Regulatory reporting and platform-wide security monitoring
Fulplate does not sell personal data. Aggregated, anonymized insights may be shared with Tenants to help improve their services, but individual customer data is never shared across Tenants.
Third-Party Service Providers
We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business. These include:
- Payment Processors: To securely handle payment transactions (e.g., Stripe). We never store your full card details.
- Communication Providers: To send order confirmations, delivery updates, and account notifications via email, SMS, or WhatsApp (e.g., Twilio, Resend).
- Hosting & Infrastructure: Cloud hosting providers that store and process data with enterprise-grade encryption.
- Analytics: Anonymized usage analytics to improve our service (no personal data is shared).
All third-party providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it for the specific services they provide to us.
SMS & WhatsApp Communications
If you opt in to receive SMS or WhatsApp messages, we will use your phone number to send transactional messages related to your orders (confirmations, delivery updates, etc.).
Your phone number will never be shared with third parties for marketing. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or updating your account preferences.

We do not sell your personal information. If this ever changes, you will have the right to opt out.

GDPR, CCPA & TCPA Compliance
We are committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and other applicable privacy and communications laws.
GDPR (European Economic Area Residents)
Legal Basis for Processing:
- Contract: Processing your order and fulfilling our service
- Consent: Storing your details for future orders and sending messaging communications (you can withdraw anytime)
- Legitimate Interest: Fraud prevention and service improvement
- Legitimate Interest (Platform): Aggregated analytics, platform quality benchmarking, and cross-tenant fraud prevention
EEA residents may lodge a complaint with their local Data Protection Authority if they believe their rights have been violated.
CCPA/CPRA (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to Know: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for collection, and any third parties with whom it is shared.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain legal exceptions (e.g., tax and accounting records).
- Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this practice ever changes, we will provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We only use sensitive personal information (e.g., precise geolocation for delivery) as reasonably necessary to provide our Services.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights.

TCPA Compliance
All SMS and voice communications comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. We obtain express written consent before sending any marketing communications. See our Opt-In Policy for details.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to:
- Fulfill orders and provide customer support
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements (typically 7 years for financial records)
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements
If you request deletion, we'll anonymize your data while keeping order records for compliance.
Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately at privacy@fulplate.com and we will promptly delete such information.
